Alison Sullivan BVetMed MRCVS

Qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1992 and came to the Hale Veterinary Group as a new graduate. She spends her time split between the Calne and Chippenham surgeries. Her veterinary interests are general small animal medicine and cardiology. She is a keen golfer and better than she would have you believe!

Jonathon ‘Jack’ Russell BVSc MRCVS

Joined the Hale Veterinary Group after qualifying from Bristol University in 2002. He is currently studying for a certificate in small animal medicine. His main clinical interests include ultrasound, blood-based disorders and medical oncology. He is also at home with all aspects of general practice. His bouncy rescue dog ‘Bling’ ensures that he has his hands full out of office hours as well!

Peter Griffiths BVSc MRCVS

Qualified in 2001 from Liverpool university and joined the Hale Veterinary Group in 2005. He works mainly at the Melksham branch but does spend some time at Calne and Chippenham. He is a good general practitioner with interests in both medicine and surgery. Since getting the diving bug at school he has become a qualified scuba diver and enjoys diving in the UK and abroad.

Frances De Moraville MA VetMB MRCVS

Qualified from Cambridge University in 1982. Apart from 4yrs of full-time motherhood she has worked in veterinary practice in Oxfordshire and Wiltshire since qualifying. She joined the Hale Veterinary Group in 2005 and predominantly works in the Melksham branch. She has concentrated on small animal work for the last few years with a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and dentistry. She lives in a sports-mad household with her husband, 3 sons, 2 dogs and 1 cat. Other interests include music, reading and gardening.

Lucy Hayes BVSc MRCVS

Qualified from Bristol University in 1996 and joined the Hale Veterinary Group in 1998 after a short time in mixed practice. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine but has particular interests in rabbit medicine, medical oncology and behavioural disorders. She now works part-time at the Melksham branch where she also sees behavioural referrals. Outside work she is a keen long distance runner and re-enacts the English Civil War in aid of charity. She is also devoted to her two cats ‘Herbert’ and ‘Tiddler’.

Sheila Hibbert BVetMed MRCVS

Qualified in 1981 from the Royal Veterinary College, London. She works part-time in the Corsham branch and at any of the surgeries when providing locum cover. She enjoys the challenges that general practice can bring and is particularly interested in feline medicine. Apart from keeping her husband Graham (one of the large animal partners in the practice) in clean shirts, she runs around after 2 teenage sons and is owned by a rescue moggie, 2 Burmese cats and a Border Terrier. Her current aim is to improve her Italian speaking!
